Just some support
Scott— I know you’ve gotten a lot of notes from people. I see everything on Tumblr and Facebook that people have written to you. We all want you to get better. This is just my way of showing some suport. I want to thank you for everything you’ve done, both in the war and OWS. You are a brave man, and dont deserve this kind of injustice. The Oakland Police are notorious for committing crimes like this against peaceful protesters and common citizens. Instead of responding to real crimes (such as drug dealing and home invasion), they go after easy targets, people who dont deserve it. The thing that angers me the most is the fact that the OPD tried to petition against Google and YouTube to take the videos down, and instead just have people see what they put on the news (which, of course, would show a violent protest and the police doing their jobs). They didn’t. I’m glad we dont have another Oscar Grant case on our hands. I’m bringing food to Occupy Austin today, and most likely marching with them tonight. I had considered it before, but the injustice happening in my home town pushed my decision over the edge. I have to do what I can to make a change. I’m marching tonight in your honor.
